                Of                                                                                          Sarasota County

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

       Christian Coalition of Sarasota County,

as chartered by the Florida Christian Coalition,

exists to give pro-life, pro-family citizens a concerted

voice in government and the community through information and action. We have monthly meetings with government leaders as speakers, we conduct candidate forums before elections, and distribute CC Voter Guides that define candidates' positions on pertinent issues.

We also provide churches and others with issues - news

from a Christian perspective and help them conduct voter

registration drives.

We also stand against anti-Christian bias in the media and the culture. And, we encourage and assist in communicating with our elected officials on key moral issues.

   Vegas-type casino gambling expansion blocked

Our Fl House has blocked the proposed law that would have expanded casino gambling in Florida. Expect the issue to return next year. Thank you all for taking a stand for righteousness by contacting our Representatives!

Our March, April, and May 2012 CC Meeting will be to pray over and discuss the critical area of Religious Freedom in America, our most important freedom!

(See Religious Freedom, under "ISSUES", left).

We meet at Fellowship of Believers Church, 3333 12th Street, Sarasota.

FOB Church is located in North Sarasota on 12th Street, which runs between Tuttle Ave. and Beneva Road, just South of 17th Street. There is a map at the "Meetings" section of our site.

We are meeting 7 - 9PM, the 3rd or 4th Thursday of each month, with perhaps time off in mid-summer and December. Please call if you would like a postcard notification of our specific meetings. Meetings are open to the public. Restrictions on taping and videotaping the meetings apply.

                                BE A CHRISTIAN ACTIVIST!

As Christian Activists, it is very important that we regularly contact our elected officials on pending moral issues. We want this site to be an easy resource to do this.
We have prepared "sample" letters, left, addressing many of the current moral issues of concern (including Healthcare). This makes it easier to communicate your views to our elected officials.

Simply identify FAX, Email, or postal addresses (below), and then pull up a sample letter, left, addressing the issue. Modify it as needed & add your return address. Then send it off (We recommend SnappyFax computer software - $29.95 - easily downloaded as one of the best available. Very easy to send FAXes, in volume, from your computer!)

Do more than curse the darkness. Take a stand for righteousness!
